Bright pops of red and orange add colour and drama to old stone barn.

The landscape of North Cornwall is awash with stone barns dotted in the rolling hillside and this simple utilitarian building sits in a farming hamlet within minutes of the spectacular coastline with far reaching views.

Its unsympathetic modernisation in the 1980s have been stripped away to reveal the true rustic charm of this stone and slate beauty. Bright pops of red and orange have added colour and drama whilst the bespoke kitchen adds character and drama. Reclaimed floorboards and slate slabs bring depth and rusticity and its nod to the humble bicycle is a hint to the pretty Sustrans trail that leads through the barns orchard.
