Seaside Thatch with a Calm Interior

The long peninsula in the Sussex countryside that eventually leads to the sea passes the inlets and estuaries of Chichester’s extensive harbour.

Just a lane back from the shingle beach stands this delightful rustic thatch with it’s tree trunk porch and deeply pitched windows.
Restored with love and care the cottage has been transformed into a haven of peace and serenity. The shades of white interior is full of texture and light- vintage pieces sit happily with seagrass stools and deep sofas and long list treasures now rediscovered rest alongside rattan chairs and reclaimed wooden tables.

There is a sense of restorative peace and an easement for busy minds - space to while away with a good book or listen to a favourite podcast or play.

Further afield Sussex offers flint cottages, deep shingly beaches and the flower filled lanes of the downs, the perfect place to explore another part of our deep pleasant land.
